Wandering Jew's Purple Stripes Fade the Same Way Croton's Colour Does
Wandering jew's striking purple-and-silver striped leaves genuinely fade toward a plainer, more uniform green in low light, following the same light-dependent colour intensity pattern seen in croton, coleus, and polka dot plant, even though it's unrelated to any of those plants. It's also extremely easy to propagate, rooting readily from almost any stem cutting placed in water or soil, and left unmanaged in open ground rather than contained to a pot, it can become mildly invasive, rooting at stem nodes in a spreading habit similar to creeping charlie's.
